"True to size and very cute! Love the details. Unlike many mary janes, my heel doesnt lift from the shoe and the strap isn't too loose. I really like how even though it's monster high themed, it's not TOO obvious. I'm obsessed. BUT i do realise that the bow is glued on and the shoe itself is glued on the platform. Feels like there's a higher risk of the shoe lifting from the platform and the bow falling off. But idk what glue is used- for all i know the glue may be good enough."

"I recently purchased the Simulacrums Plaid Mary Janes from the exclusive collaboration with Monster High, and I’m genuinely obsessed. The design is such a perfect blend of classic plaid school-girl vibes with that bold, slightly edgy aesthetic you’d expect from a Monster High collab. They’re statement shoes for sure, but still super wearable with everyday outfits. For sizing reference: I normally wear a size 4, but I ordered a 5 because I like to wear socks with my Mary Janes. The size 4 would have fit perfectly, but I always size up if I can — especially if you want to avoid blisters 😉. The size 5 gives me that little bit of extra room that makes them much more comfortable for longer wear. Overall, they’re stylish, comfortable (when sized right!), and feel like a special piece if you’re a fan of the collaboration. Definitely recommend — just consider sizing up if you plan on wearing socks!"
